What are Scratch Pads?
Scratch Pads are your area for all those little things that your team needs to do. Whether it's just to remind yourself of what's coming up, or to pass on information to your team, we have you covered. Some of the most common use cases for the Scratch Pads are: Review points: Whether it is month end or reconciliation tasks, a lot of the time you want the ability to pass on items that need to be fixed up. When you click on the Scratch Pad link in the navigation bar you will have two default Scratch Pads: Your personal Scratch Pad (top right) Only you can add to, edit, and see the contents of this Scratch Pad, it is your own personal space. Once you have ticked off your Scratch task, it will drop to the bottom of your Scratch pad and appear as completed (strike through text). To remove the completed Scratch tasks from your Scratch pad, select the options function, and then Clear completedFew readersComplete a scratch task
Once you have completed your Scratch task, simply tick the box beside the task, The task will now show as completed and drop to the bottom of the list. It will however stay in the scratch pad (as a completed task), until you clear all the completed tasks (click Options in the top right tFew readersAssign a Scratch task
You can assign a Scratch task to any member of the team who is part of the Scratch pad Select the assignee icon and select from the members who are members of that Scratch padFew readersArchive a scratch pad
Once you have finished or no longer need a Scratch pad you can remove it. To remove the completed Scratch tasks from your Scratch pad, select the Options function, and then ArchiveFew readersCreate a new Scratch task
Adding a new Scratch task to an existing Scratch Pad is easy Select the + Add task... icon on the Scratch Pad to wish to add a task to Add in the Task by typing into the line Once created you can assign the task to any member who is part of that Scratch pad (https://storage.crisp.chat/uFew readersEdit a Scratch pad
Once your Scratch Pad is created you can edit it to add or remove users, rename it, or even change the emoji associated to it.
